Help:Starting a new page

From Pubwiki

Jump to: navigation, search

The easiest way to start a new page is to first add a link to the new page in the page you want it to be associated with. For example, to add a new literature entry:

  • Go to the page where your new link will start
  • Click the edit tab at the top of the page
  • Insert the article's title as Title:new name between the [[ ]]'s
  • Save the page
  • Go to the Main Page and click on the template internal link
  • Click the edit tab at the top of the template page
  • Copy the format of the template page
  • Close the template page and return to the page where you inserted your new internal
  • Paste in the format that you copied from the template
  • After you have typed in your new information, click on the Save page button at the bottom and the record will be entered in the Wiki.

Do not worry about your typing. If you make any errors, you can always fix them later.

See How to format pages, add links and play with the layout for tips on entering your information.
